Bug in sliced sprite?

Hi,
I'm trying to use a sliced sprite but I saw that it doesn't work with a diced sprite. Is this a bug or it's the normal behaviour? (version 2.0 hotfix 2)
Documentation doesn't say anything about that limit, so I'm not sure if it's a bug or just the way it works

Its just how it works, its unrealistically expensive to slice/tile/clip a diced sprite.

Thanks a lot, just as I thought, something like this cannot be a bug.. too big to be real
